July 4th Parade

We’re excited to represent the Lakota Tomahawks in the Liberty Township 4th of July Parade on Saturday, July 4! 🇺🇸

Please review the important details below:

📍 Parade Line-Up

Location: Lakota East High School parking lot

Arrival Time: 8:00 AM

Parade Begins: 9:00 AM

The Lakota Tomahawks have been assigned to Row 3.

🚗 Parking

Please note that only parade vehicles will be permitted in the staging area. Families should park in the designated participant parking areas and walk to our line-up location. (See attached parade map.)

🍬 Candy

If your football player or cheerleader would like to hand out candy during the parade, please bring a bag of individually wrapped candy.

Please do not throw candy. Candy should be handed directly to spectators.

🚶 Parade Guidelines

We must keep a steady walking pace throughout the parade.

No stopping for performances.

If you are riding on a parade vehicle, you must remain on the vehicle for the duration of the parade.

Wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.

Apply sunscreen and bring plenty of water.

Please use the restroom before arriving, as there are no public restrooms available at the staging area.

🏁 End of the Parade

The parade concludes at Liberty Junior School. If you are not riding back on a parade vehicle, please plan your transportation accordingly. For everyone’s safety, do not drive into or across the parade route near Liberty Junior School until the parade has completely concluded.
