The Hawg Squad
Our players of the week is our Hawg Squad. They amassed 9 pancakes this week and opened up holes for our backs that a truck could drive through allow our backs to gain over 200 yards on the ground. Keep getting them pancakes boys!!!
Team 8 - Red
This is Braxton’s 3rd year of Lakota football and he really emerged as a leader on the field this year. Extra practice at home and work in the off season really does pay off. At this weekend’s game he rushed for over 200 yards on offense and made over a dozen solo tackles on defense. He always stays humble and ready for the next play. We are so excited to see how much more he grows as an athlete this year. Go Braxton!

Tevin Ware
Tevin lead the team in rushing, had 2 TDs and 4 tackles on defense. He gave all he had showing grit and leadership!

Going 4/4- passing for 2 TDs and throwing for 110+ yards on the day. Heck of of a game for the Birthday Boy!!! Nice photobomb Coach Mark!

Ben Porter
Ben delivered an outstanding performance on Sunday, showcasing his talent and determination on both side of the ball. Playing both ways, he made multiple key tackles on defense and broke free for a spectacular 40-yard touchdown run. His relentless effort, leadership, and drive were in full display of what is means to be a leader! Keep up the great work Ben!

Team 11 - Black
Evan Combs helped lead the 5G Black team to an impressive 48-0 victory over the 5G Kettering Gray team. Evan was instrumental in the win, setting the edge on the defensive line and helped create push on the offensive line to get the Tomahawk ground game going. His aggressiveness and tenacity were key attributes that made him standout among his peers.

Brayton Goodman
Brayton Goodman made his presence felt on both sides of the ball this week, delivering a performance that helped fuel the team’s success. On offense, Brayton showed speed and determination, breaking off several strong runs. On defense, he was just as impactful, stepping up with several big tackles that stopped opponents in their tracks. His effort, toughness, and all-around play made him a difference-maker this week.
